Choosing the right baby care products is important for new mothers because newborns can have sensitivities to certain products. I went through a rollercoaster while choosing what worked best for Rylee. I was also gifted and purchased a lot of products that I did not use which also could be a waste of money, as well as time. Although, every baby is different and what works for me might not work for other mothers, I still wanted to share what helped Rylee & I.
Below are pictures of the products I use, why I use the products, and a direct link so you can purchase the products on Amazon:

Mylicon: Found this to work much better for a gassy baby verse other products like gripe water. Mylicon can also be used up to 12 times a day, which is helpful.
Butt Paste: First, I used Desitin on Rylee and it made her butt VERY RED, so I figured she had some type of sensitivity to an ingredient in Desitin. Butt Paste is also not as thick as Desitin so it doesn't make such a mess.
Cetaphil: Works best for babies with bad baby acne. Johnson & Johnson did not clear the acne up for Rylee. A couple days after using Cetaphil, Rylees' acne cleared up.
Nose Frida: I found the nose Frida to be much easier to remove boogers, as well as much easier to clean.
Cuticle Scissors: As a new mom it is normal to be terrified to cut your newborns nails out of fear of hurting your little one. That is exactly what I did while attempting to cut Rylees' nails. My mother recommended using cuticle scissors and I LOVE THEM! So much easier to see what you are doing when cutting your babies nails and reduces risk of hurting your baby.
