As a new mother, you are going to change your baby frequently and it is going to get messy! Rylee is only 3 months old, but I wish I knew these hacks when she was born. These mom hacks are so simple, but yet so effective. If I knew these mom hacks sooner, I could of possibly avoided a mess on my couch and on her clothes. THE YELLOW LINE ON THE DIAPER:
When I first became a mother. I'd constantly feel Rylee's diaper to see if she peed, to see if it was "heavy". Little did I know that the yellow line on the diaper while turn blue to indicate your baby has peed. I'm not sure if it is yellow for every diaper brand, but I know it is yellow on a pamper and turns blue.
THE RUFFLES ON THE DIAPER:
Want to help reduce the amount of blow outs your baby is having? When changing your baby make sure the ruffles are not tucked inside. I'm not saying you will never have a blow out, but they are placed there to help reduce the amount of blow outs.
PlACE A NEW DIAPER UNDER OLD:
If you place a new diaper under the old diaper you can avoid a mess on the couch if you aren't using a changing pad under your baby. This also allows you to change your baby faster, which is helpful when you are not home or when your baby is fussy.
USE A BUMCO:
A Bumco is helpful when applying diaper rash cream. This will also help avoid a mess on your hands, etc. This is very affordable and if you are interested in purchasing, you can click the link below.
ELASTIC BAND TRICK:
Tie an elastic hair tie around wipes to avoid the wipes coming out in a clump and over using wipes. They are expensive so I'd definitely use the elastic hair tie, so one comes out at a time.
